8550 003 MORT DEADLOCK LESS CYLINDER

A Baldwin Brass mortise cylinder deadlock, featuring pre-drilled shielded passage and lock in one housing, with a highly polished brass finish and perforated radius edge. Deadlocks feature 1-4/5" backset on the faceplate. This mortise deadlock is part of our 8550003 series which features security+ over the standard 5 pin cylinder operation; it may also be keyed to KW1 to provide excellent insurance against unauthorized key duplication.

The Baldwin 8550 Single Cylinder Mortise Deadlock is a mortise deadbolt with an internal locking mechanism that is operated by pushing or turning a rotating cam. The deadbolt can be locked and unlocked using the cylinder. Key control allows you to select between keyed-differently, master key or no master key (keyed-alike).

The Baldwin 8550 Mortise Deadlock is built to last with all solid brass construction and stainless steel strike.

The Baldwin 8550 mortise deadlock is constructed from solid brass, then polished to a high luster. The lock features an EZ-Ride Plus rotating cam, which allows the user to operate the lock smoothly and easily. It comes complete with cam and T-bar concealed strike for added security. You'll receive two keys with your purchase of this chamber door lock.

The Baldwin light commercial mortise deadlock is the ideal solution for securing an entrance door, closet door, or even a glass door. The lock features large rotating levers and a full-length throw bolt with ball bearings for smooth operation. For convenience, the 8550 series will accept existing hardware in many cases which makes it easy to replace factory installed locks.

The Baldwin 8550 deadlock features solid brass construction, a lifetime polished finish, and is compatible with single cylinder locks. This lock works on doors up to 2-1/2" thick.
