These line voltage mechanical thermostats from Johnson Controls have a low temperature set point of 41 degrees F and a high temperature set point of 95 degrees F. Use this remote bulb SPDT thermostat to control a single phase heating or cooling load that has a phase angle of 180 degrees. Ideal for controlling motorized, multi-speed fans, motorized curtains, and other devices.
The Johnson Controls 6665 line voltage, 1 stage, mechanical on/off, 24 to 277 VAC thermostat is designed for residential heating or cooling control applications. It controls on/off operation on existing wall switch on single phase power demanding equipment with the use of a remote bulb terminal. It is typically installed in baseboard heaters, fan coil units, water heaters, or other loads within its ratings. A thermally protected contact permits over-temperature protection and restarts the load after the heating or cooling equipment has cooled down.

The 66 Series has been replaced with the new 6665 Series which look similar but will only work with 24 VAC/VDC applications. The 6665 is rated for 277 Vac/Vdc single-phase and 24 Vac/Vdc. The 6666 is rated for 277 Vac/Vdc three-phase and 24 Vac/Vdc. NOTE: Not all functions are available on all models.
