The Johnson Controls 161508 A28 is a standard 2-stage temperature control rated for indoor and outdoor mounting. With waterproof and dustproof sealing, this thermostat is perfect for use in harsh environments.

Johnson Controls' A28 2-stage temperature controller is approved for use in ambient temperatures from –40 to 122F and features a fully adjustable output between 0 and 100 percent of the set point. It provides accurate control of process heating or cooling applications such as heat tracing, fire protection systems, test stands, ovens, and equipment manufacturing processes.

The A28, a two stage thermostat is used to control heating and cooling equipment that has a "high" and a "low" set point. The A28 consists of 12" wire leads.

Use for heating and cooling applications in buildings and vehicles where dry contact closures are used in conjunction with positive thermal contacts for direct control.
