This is a 0.700 in. diameter x 19-3/8 in. long replacement anode rod for RHEEM, RUUD, and ULTRAUNIVERSAL brand gas water heater models. The anode rod should be replaced every 2-3 years to prevent corrosion inside the tank, which could result in a rupture of the tank.

The RHEEM/Ruud 0.7 in. diameter anode rod is used with the CR-2 and CR-3 series heat pump condensing units and should only be used with anode rod holders RHE-5 or RHE-19, and should not be used with other manufacturers' equipment.
