120V 1/2" 2-WAY N.C. SAFETY SHUTOFF GAS SOLENOID V
The ASCO® 68652 safety shutoff valve helps prevent gas leaks and fires. A 1/2" pipe-size valve with a 6 CV flow rating and 0.687" orifice, it's rated for 120V/60 Hz, 110V/50 Hz operation. The two-way normally closed design is useful when you want to permanently block gas flow to a piece of equipment in order to protect against fire risks.
This ASCO safety gas shutoff valve is used as a direct-acting 2-way normally closed governor control valve for gas, steam, and water applications. It can also be used in other general purpose applications. The valve shuts off the flow of the gas. This unit includes a 1/2" pipe size with 6 Cv flow and an orifice size in 0.687".
The ASCO Gas Shutoff Valve is made for single to multi-line natural gas applications. It is also used to limit excess flow of gas into a system. The valves features a cast aluminum body and base with stainless steel solenoid shaft, valve disc and stem, and a double seal in design. This is a two-way normally closed shutoff valve that is not rated below 20 PSI. The valve has a maximum pressure of 6.8
Lightweight, compact design acts like a valve so the solenoid can be positioned at any angle for easier wiring. The nitrogen/butyl seal inhibits flow from escaping into the mounting box. Stainless steel spring provides smooth operation and long life. Testing button allows you to easily test the equipment with its gas supply shut off without having to use the air pressure regulator to bleed air out of the outlet line, which could damage it. Two-way normally closed position is ideal for emergency shutdown applications.

When energized, this flameproof valve opens and allows natural gas, propane or another fuel gas to flow from its supply source to the burners.
