2 STAGE CONTROL FIELD KIT
The two-stage water heater control field kit provides accurate temperature control, improves water flow, and helps prevent overheating and element failure. This kit replaces those found in multiple electric water heaters including Amana gas and electric water heaters. The two-stage controller is suitable for warm-air hydronic (toilet, bidet, air conditioning), radiant-hydronic (furnaces, boilers), and forced air hydronic applications.
Installs conveniently in minutes, completely replacing the standard control field. The 2 stage control kit includes a two stage water valve, pressure relief, and pressure switch. This kit is necessary when converting a single stage control to a 2 stage system. This kit will not work as a replacement for the 2 stage control on a 2 stage system

The Amana B1809923S 2 Stage board is best for venting clothes like delicates, sweaters, and undergarments, which would normally be ruined by heat drying. For specialty items, you can simply set the control field to the 100% cool cycle for gentle cooling.

The B1809923S and B1809923S-3 are factory installed 2 stage board models. When the first stage of heat is exceeded, a second stage of heat is automatically added to continue the drying process. The controls shall have an OFF/ON switch and a signal light that will indicate red when high temperature limit is reached and yellow when low temperature limit is reached.
