ULTRA VIOLET FLAME SENSOR

The ULTRA VIOLET FLAME SENSOR detects the UV in the flame. Flame sensor can be used instead of the temperature sensor for temperature control on units which require low temperature.

Honeywell's V-60002 Ultra Violet Flame Sensor will alert you if your pilot, main, or night safety flame is out. This sensor can be used in gas logs, grills, fireplaces or fire pits that utilize propane or natural gas. The flame sensor does not require a transformer and can be hard wired to an existing home alarm system, home automation system, or any other suitable enclosure.

The UV Flame Sensor detects invisible flames by using the ultraviolet (UV) rays they emit. Two halogen bulbs produce a bright UV light that is directed towards a detector surface, which will show a visible glow when an invisible flame is present. Push-button momentary switch for on/off application. 125 VAC operation.

The UV Flame Sensor detects an incandescent flame's invisible ultraviolet rays. It activates both types of fire detectors, Flame Detectors with Heat and Smoke Detectors, and is compatible with all brands. This UV Sensor can last up to 5 years in normal operation without any maintenance required.

The UV Flame Sensor is a replacement part for the Safety Pilot System in Honeywell gas, fueled, or oil-filled water heaters and furnaces.

Neon blue ultraviolet flame sensor can be used to help alert the caregiver that the pilot light is lit. The color is bright blue, which makes it easy to see even in a poorly lit room. It has 13/64 inch male and female threads on the ends, with a polished chrome finish.
