The Honeywell 66872 is a carbon dioxide sensor (CO2), packaged without a display or housing. The sensor can be mounted directly to electrical ducting using an optional duct mount fixture kit. The power supply leads are located on the bottom of the housing and pass through a hole in the duct mount fixture for connection to a separate display and/or control circuitry.
The 66872-N is a CSIRT, CO2 Duct Mount, non-Honeywell branded version of the 66872. This humidity/temperature sensor is designed to mount in an HVAC system's ductwork for the measurement of carbon dioxide levels. It has no display. Sensor includes a 3 ft. (0.9 m) cable.
The 66872 Carbon Dioxide Sensor features a durable, non-conductive, carbon dioxide (CO2) specific housing that is compatible with any 3-wire non-controlled flue gas temperature controller, such as the 65800 Series Digital Temperature Controllers. This CO2 sensor also works with indirect CO2 controller models HR924, HR904 and HE2030.
The networkable Honeywell 66872 Duct Mount Carbon Dioxide Sensor is a 0-100% LEL meter with an LM86 output. This low-voltage powered device provides 0-100% LEL measurement as a 0-5V or 0-10V DC Analog signal. It can be used to monitor stack emissions in HVAC/refrigeration or other industrial applications that use gas, oil, or steam.
Honeywell's 66872 Duct Mount Carbon Dioxide Sensor is a differential type sensor designed for CO2 detection in HVAC applications. The 66872 features an extended temperature model (-40 to 60 deg C), as opposed to the stock -20 to 60 deg C, allowing for additional flexibility in installation and placement. Also, it has a non-heated electrical connection option (shielded wire leads) for lower power consumption.
The Honeywell 66872 Carbon Dioxide Sensor is used in conjunction with the 66800 Series CO2 Sensor Display to create a CO2 monitoring system. This sensor can be monitored or automatically controlled using Honeywell's Digital Controller, 3rd Generation LCD Display Controllers, or other low-voltage controllers.
This sensor works with any Honeywell IntelliWave Series system and delivers accurate, reliable measurements of CO2 levels in areas such as research labs, hospitals, manufacturing plants, and other sites. The sensor detects the concentration of carbon dioxide in the surrounding air and transmits a signal to compatible systems. The IWS-1042-0010 IntelliWave carbon dioxide sensor is 0 to 2000 ppm accurate over a measurement range of 0 to 50 VDC and 0 to 500 mA; it is calibrated at 443.3 ppm at 25°C (77°F).
