The Carrier Flame Sensor detects and shuts off gas to appliances connected to natural gas furnaces and central air conditioners when dangerous levels of carbon monoxide are present.
The Flame Sensor detects fireplace fire and shuts off the gas automatically in the event of a flame failure. The controller features a reset button for resetting after power outage or system tests, and Auto/Manual controls. There is also a pilot lamp with on/off switch, which can be used as pilot burners heaters inside your fireplace to provide supplemental heat.
This flame sensor is designed for use with Carrier brand furnaces. Please verify compatibility prior to installation.
