The Carrier HA1V017 heat pump model is also known as the Switch Temp. Act. This unit features 17 SEER energy efficiency, Single stage compressor with variable speed fan motor, and an Energy Star rating.

Programmable Thermostat allows you to set and change your home's thermostat temperature from anywhere via the internet based on specific schedule times that can be customized as you like. This Carrier unit has a line voltage primary circuit, it is rated at 0.71 amps  and will replace a conventional gas wall furnace. This unit also has a switch temperature actuation (STA) device. The HH18HA017 is an  effectiveness rated device for the system design of 110,000 BA and greater and is rated for replacement of a system designed up to 150,000 Btu/h.
