The Carrier HH18HB052 TEMP ACT SWITCH is for use with the following air conditioners:

The Carrier HH18HB052 Temp Act Switch is an integrated circuit designed to fit into a standard wall-plate. The unit has one SPDT normally closed contact, three open collector normally open contacts rated 0.5 A @ 24 VAC and two control circuit outputs rated 2 A @ 24 VAC. The switch is installed by passing the two control circuit leads through a double gang wall-plate, and the SPDT control lead is wired into the common terminal of the wall-plate.

The Carrier HH18HB052 Temperature Actuated Switch is meant to replace a defective one or used in new installations.
