The Carrier HK02SB029 Pressure Switch converts the airflow of the Carrier HK02SB029 into a pressure signal that can then be monitored by another control device. The device is rated for 8 to 14 VAC and also incorporates a "L" terminal that can be used to change the center point voltage-wise.

The Carrier HK02SB029 pressure switch included with this unit is designed to control the burner output in response to pressure variation. The output of the heating device will vary greatly as atmospheric pressure changes, such as when a truck passes or doors are opened near it and the amount of fluid in the tank decreases. This may cause an actual flame failure or damage to the heating device. To prevent this occurrence, a pressure switch will turn off the device if sensing low or zero pressures.
