The 3/8 X 3/8" Barb Coupling by Honeywell has a metal inlet and outlet end. The female end has a barbed connection to accept 5/16 or 1/2 inch (grade "A") tubing and the male end has a barbed to accept 3/8 inch OD (outside dimension) tubing. These fittings are designed to be used with either non-corrosive liquid or air lines.
