DIFF PRESSURE SWITCH-OIL; FOR
Clear Differential Pressure Switches are used with oil pressure indicating instruments for indicating oil pressure in the lubrication system of mobile, stationary, and marine equipment. Full-size rated to rated differential at 100% duty cycle.
The P400BD-1C is a differential pressure switch that allows the lubricator to monitor the differential pressure in the oil system. This will then automatically switch off when this pressure is above/below the 10 to 15 psid range.
The Johnson Controls P400BD-1C Single-Point Differential Lube Oil Pressure Switch 10.0 +/- 1.5 psid Open Point is a pressure switch used as a safety device for lube oil systems and as a primary control device for lube oil systems
Johnson Controls P400BD-1C Single-Point Differential Pressure Switch, 10.0 +/- 1.5 psid Open Point
The design goal of the P400BD series oil-pressure switch was to provide repeatability and stability of the designed differential pressure over time and temperature fluctuation, while minimizing false trips. They are available in many configurations which include input/output electrical ratings, venting arrangements, temperature ranges, case types, range markings, adjusting techniques and mounting options. Other options are unique to each switch model.
The P400BD-1C differential pressure switch is used to sense low or high pressure against a spring return. The electrical current to the parts that control the load is applied to this device, and it closes an electrical contact when pressure in the differential rises to a value between 0 and 10 psi. This switch differs from a standard single point type in that it can be set to trigger at a range between 0 and 45 psi and does not reset until the pressure falls below 15 psi. The cross section of the probe tube is the same as the pressure being detected.
Sometimes it's the little things that make a big difference. A single-point pressure switch from Johnson Controls can be a convenient many-watt drive reliability solution. This switch is a single-point pressure switch, meaning the entire range of differential pressure must exceed the factory differential pressure set point before tripping. Other pressure switches, such as a double-point or triple-point switch, will trip when differential pressures exceed their respective factory differential pressure set points even if there is still some margin at other sections on your machine.
Please note: if added together, the maximum pressure ratings for the port(s) and the differential(s) must not exceed 125 psig (863 kPaG). This differential pressure switch may be used to control several battery charging loads located close to each other.
