This is a zone valve operator designed to control zone valves in homes with central heat and air systems. It is compatible with most 24-volt 2-wire zone valve actuators on the market. Each zone valve operator is manufactured to exacting standards for quiet operation, long life, calibration accuracy and dependability. The 1/2 hp direct-drive motor provides all the torque necessary for consistent actuation of the Zone Valves over a wide range of spring tensions. The non adjustable governor provides automatic overload protection without sticking or binding. The entire unit is encapsulated in a die-cast aluminum housing for maximum durability and electrical protection

Our 5177 zone valve operator for 24V systems is UL tested and listed. Use this 2-wire zone valve operator in applications such as irrigation, pools/spas, ventilation, etc. Operating frequency is 60 Hz or 400 cycles per hour at 120/240 VAC 60 Hz. It has a cycle time of 0.4 second at full speed to off, with a 0.4-second decay rate before starting again. For outdoor use only.
