The NEW White-Rodgers 5177 24V 2-wire zone valve operator for 2-wire zone valves is specially designed to be serviceable without removing the motor from the valve. It uses a direct drive motor with an external rotor and has a built-in push-to-test pilot lamp that indicates the status of the pilot. Each motor has a nonmetallic thermoplastic enclosure that resists damage from water, oil, and most chemicals. This operator will operate type 1, 1 1/2, 2, 3, 4, 10 and all snap action type valves with capacities larger than 8 GPM and smaller

White-Rodgers 5177 2-wire zone valve operator is a replacement for some of White-Rodgers 2 wire zone valves. It has a 24 VAC coil and a black plastic enclosure. It measures 3.9" x 4.1" x 3.1". The spade terminal voltage must be correct for the zone valve, if not you could burn up the operator or the zone valve, please verify before wiring (see rating plate).

The 5177 is a two-wire, permanent split capacitor, 24 volt thermal motor assembly for use with all 2-wire zone valves. Matching operating limit and pilot valves are available as part of the complete sensor package, the 52XX Series
Zone valve operators are designed to control sprinkler or irrigation valves. They have a white plastic cover and wire leads with terminal block. This operator is for one 1/2" NPT diameter precision ball valve used in a zone valve configuration. It has an operating cycle time of 0.25 sec. at 24 VAC and pulse width of 0.8 to 2.7 ms.
