Control your flow without sacrificing reliability The fluid flow switch (FSS) switches ON or OFF in response to the level of liquid inside. Built with PID-like features, the FSS provides an accurate measurement of position, while minimizing risk of failures due to misloading. The FSS requires no additional calibration or setup. It's easy to replace if needed and will not lock-up like traditional float switches.
The flow switch detects liquid flow as low as 250 1/min or 5 GPM. The stainless steel 316 marine grade, EPDM diaphragms have a 1.5 pressure differential. The cam disk shutoff draws down to provide a 1 shutoff and is guaranteed to remain fully open. The ball seats inside the valve are made from a high-grade stainless steel, brass and bronze for long lasting leak-free operation. The contact surfaces of all electrical terminals are tin plated copper alloy for corrosion resistance and high conductivity.
The Series F261KFH Flow Switches incorporate an electrically actuated, spherically balanced pressure-dependent float switch with tripping mechanism. The design is appropriate for marine and other low flow applications where accuracy and stability are of prime importance.
The F261KFH-V0 Flow Switch with Brass Stem is designed for use with Johnson Controls' F Series Liquid Level Controller, but it can be used with any standard liquid level controller that has 1/8" NPT threads. This flow switch is often used to monitor liquids at their source. The flow switch consists of the stem (brass) machine screw, brass nozzle contact, and nylon housing.
