The GVD-6 automatic vent damper is compatible with most gas fired appliances and heaters installed in RV's and trailers. This near-perfect replacement for your old manual RV vent damper will keep your trailer's temperature at a comfortable level all night. Its very low profile makes it ideal for installation in model homes and cabins  where space may be limited. Our GVD never needs adjustment because its easy fit system fits most common 6" round ductwork.

The GVD-6 vent damper is a automatic damper or air shut off device that regulates airflow. This will help to reduce or eliminate the possibility of carbon monoxide (CO) gas entering the home through the furnace chimney.

The Field Controls GVD-6PL automatic vent damper replaces the Standard 3.5" factory vent damper in 24V gas Loggers. With a flip of a switch, you can control the draw on your fireplace or hot tub with the touch of a button from the comforts of your home. The built-in limit switch automatically turns off the system when it reaches a set temperature to prevent over firing the appliance.

The GDS-6 automatic vent damper is designed to limit airflow on gas forced air systems with a combustion fan coil unit. This damper will not work with any other type of forced air system. The GDS-6 is capable of being wired to open or close when the furnace blower motor starts and stops, by using the optional 46487101 Harness Assembly.
