The Field Controls 5" 36564 Automatic Vent Damper for 24V Gas systems is designed to offer reliable service and longer life in all types of gas burning appliances including boilers, furnaces, water heaters, fireplaces, pilot lights and other applications.

This model automatic vent damper is designed for 24V gas compressor systems. It will improve the efficiency of the system by reducing the amount of cold air that is pulled into the system during start-up and during run-down periods. The Low Profile Design allows for same height install as standard 5" Dampers with added insulation to protect against freeze up problems in unheated areas.

This is a replacement vent damper for gas furnaces which use 24V gas valve controls. 5" hand-adjustable louvers feature a ratcheting design which enables easy automatic adjustment of the louvers. The 36664 vent damper operates in accordance with the venting requirements of ANSI Z21.56 standards. UL listed for use up to 150' from the gas valve.

Our field-selectable 24V Automatic Vent Damper functions with a bake, broil and burn control switch. The automatic damper will override the controls and direct airflow to the hottest burner. It features two installation configurations: spring biased or 2-speed motorized damper.  Gas connectors included for 20" x 15/16" O.D. gas pipe connections to 3" x 2" I.D. gas pipe connections.  Please see manual for more information

The Field Controls Automatic Vent Damper is designed to automatically control the air supply to the furnace, with 0-2.0 CFM of airflow. It features a 5" diameter, comes with a rain cap attachment, and includes a 10' 9 wire cable for easy installation.
