The Flame Arrestor is a flame suppression device for the Fire Magic Duke gas grill line. The Duke is an Open Gas Grill that can be converted to a Counter Top Gas Grill by adding the Counter Top Kit (sold separately). The Duke 264620 has more room on the cooking grid than the Duke 264618.

DUKE's Flame Arrestor is a no squat, no touch, flame arrestor. It captures 59% of the heat in the pipe and prevents it from reaching a point of ignition. It reduces the risk of flashover or flashback by 50%. It reduces the risk of ignitable vapor concentration to below the LEL (Lower Explosive Limit) which will help prevent explosions, reduce flaring and assist in production. Flame Arrestors are used on all types of natural and synthetic gas wells.

The Flame Arrestor mounts on your grill and helps to cut down on flare ups. It works by containing the flames to the inside of the cooker grates, rather than sending them up and out of the exhaust hood.

Pop-up flame arrestor fits 2 1/2" & 2" vents. Flame arrestor for attached gas ranges with two 3/4" clean out ports and one 3/4" air inlet port. UL Listed.
