A flame sensor is a recommended accessory for use with Wyott GDC and BCO grills. This flame sensor can also be used on a W-2 receiver.
The Flame Sensor accessory is designed to detect the presence of a flame and shut off a burner if it is not present.
The Flame Sensor acts as a switch between the safety shut off switch and the burner assembly. The sensor is located inside of the main cavity of the flame broiler and detects heat from the gas burners in order to keep them on. It does not have a wire coming out of it.
The Flame Sensor on this item is for gas flame failure detection in gas grills.
