An aquastat automatically maintains a safe, constant water temperature. The 2141 On/Off stat is equipped with a high temperature fixed differential and is ideal for heating water to 115°F (46.1°C). Maximum working voltage: 240V.
It is a thermostatic temperature control and domestic water circulating pump circuit for heating and cooling of HVAC systems. The device acts as a two-position double relay switch with the operating temperature range from 100 to 240F.

The Honeywell 2141 is used in numerous refrigeration systems to prevent freezing. Replacing a malfunctioning aquastat is an easy fix for difficult troubleshooting symptoms such as: (a) compressor will not start, (b) compressor only rarely starts on its own, and (c) air conditioning system runs all the time or intermittently with very little cooling. In addition to these common problems, the aquastat may display any one or combination of the following symptoms: compressor cycles too frequently - does not cycle long enough - fan motor operates continuously - water drips from evaporator coil - ice accumulation on evaporator
The Honeywell 2141 High-Limit Aquastat Controller with On-Off Switch is a simple, single-piece temperature controller for heating and/or chilled water systems that provides feedback of the current control setting and the actual – setpoint. It also has an indicator light to indicate if the temperature is high or low.
