The HONEYWELL-2145-AQUASTAT-40/180F New Style Aquastat is a general purpose Solid State, controls water based heaters. It opens on temperature rise and has a reset at the set temperature. The 2145 also features two independent sets of terminals to control water temperatures up to 180°F (82°C).

The Honeywell 2145 Series Aquastat is used to control temperature and to shut off heating equipment. It is designed for use on direct heating equipment with peak rating below 50 kW and on boilers, steam generators and other heat transfer equipment with a maximum water or steam temperature up to 210°F (99°C). The device opens on temperature rise.

The AQUASTAT is a differential pressure control switch used on gas, oil, and steam systems with low-pressure steam generation. The low cost and compact size makes it suitable for many large water source (boiler) applications.

The Aquastat is a precision thermostat for temperature control of hot water systems. The 40/180F SPST model has a temperature differential of 3" and operates on rise at a temperature range of 40F – 180F. Diff. 3" Rise @ 40F – 180F  Manufacturer:  Honeywell

The Aquastat opens a flow control valve when the temperature rises. Typically used for humidification of air, its two contact points allow for a small or large difference in temperature between your return and supply. 2-1/2 in. minimum insulation required at valve.

This Aquastat 40/180 F is ideal for use on hydronic heating systems operating at either 40F or 180F. This bimetal temperature controlled switch features a conventional SPST non latching momentary pilot with 3'' of insulation. A switch opening temperature rise of 2 deg. is standard.
