The Honeywell HCM9-UT Thermostatic Mixing Valve requires a compatible heating system for installation; consult your local heating installer or heating supply retailer when purchasing. This valve is designed for hydronic heating systems only and cannot be used with electrical heating panels. The AM101R-UT/1 line of mixing valves are used to regulate the flow of hot water and return flow in radiant floor heating systems. They are also used in combination with a circulator pump to circulate water through an unvented hydronic radiant system. The mixers are supplied standard with a 3/4" NPT thread Union for connection with either 3/4" copper tubing, tapered copper tubing, EPR or polybutylene tubing or 1/2" galvanized pipe. The Honeywell AM101R-UT-1 Radiant Thermostatic Mixing Valve features a 3/4 inch NPT threaded intake with an outlet of the same size, and can be used in forced air heating systems with a temperature between 70-180 degrees Fahrenheit or 21.1 to 82.2 degrees Celsius. This mixing valve has high water pressure as well as high flow rates, and is suitable for installation on either horizontal or vertical piping applications.
