The Dual Aquastat is a dual station duct mounted temperature controller with a modular design. It may be mounted vertically or horizontally in either position.

Specially designed for installing in forced air heating systems. The dual aquastat allows the installer to set two different temperature limits so that hot water can be fed to the space heating section of the system when both temperatures are met. It also protects against overdraft by shutting off the water supply in a hot water circulation system when the temperature drops below 140F

Literature holders cAN BE MOUNTED HORIZONTALLY OR VERTICALLY AND ARE AVAILABLE IN SIX DIFFERENT COLORS. THEY CAN BE INSTALLED IN THREE DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS, ALLOWING FOR INCREASED VERSATILITY OF APPLICATION. THE AQUASTAT IS USED AS A HIGH AND LOW WATER INDICATOR FOR GAS-FIRED WATER HEATERS.

A dual aquastat is used in hydronic heating systems to control a heat exchanger. It senses and maintains a preset minimum or maximum temperature, usually the set point on a humidifier or auxiliary water heater. It uses two separate sensors to detect temperature, which for all other aquastats is only available on the L4081B.

The Aquastat, the first of its kind to offer two temperature setpoints, is now available in a horizontal or vertical mount for a complete line of mounting styles. This model has 2 sets of terminals marked "AO" and "AZ" for connection to the appropriate flow devices.

Controlling two devices from a single point, this Aquastat places your automatic controls in the closet or the attic, where they are protected from freezing. Dual-ganged control with separate zone temperature ranges for summer and winter. In cold climates, zone settings may be in intervals of up to 10 degrees. In mild climates, zone setting may be set at even increments.
