The Honeywell L6006A1012 Aquastat Controller is designed for use with residential and light commercial gas fired water heaters. It utilizes a high limit or low limit configuration to control the operation of two stage gas valves, electric and hybrid water heaters. The controller applies power to the pilot and gas control valves based on sensors that measure temperature changes in the water heater tank.

The L6006A1012 is a high/low limit aquastat controller for residential heating and cooling systems that are controlled by direct expansion (DX) automatic valves or reversing battery operated valves. The construction is 1/4" thick stainless steel and features a green resistive dial and black rotating index pointer for long lasting durability. The green dial requires no calibration as it is an intrinsically safe product.

The AQUASTAT L6006A1012 is a high/low limit aquastat controller for use with this water heater or any other hot water application. The unit controls the temperature of the heating element and automatically turns on/off as the temperature reaches a predefined level. In addition, the heating element will not function until the tank temperature reaches approximately 115°F (45°C).

The L6006A1012 is a complete two stage, single zone controller for a residential water heater or boiler. The controller operates the water temperature within a range that is selected by the end user based on the type of appliance (boiler or water heater), flue temperature, and local codes. The L6006A1012 is available in two different configurations. Version 1 provides for both high limit and low limit switching. Version 2 provides for low limit only switching.
