This 30# snap action Fire/Smoke Actuator is a two position, spring return device. It can be used as either a fire alarm switch or a smoke alarm switch. When used for a fire alarm device it will activate on high temperature contacts, and when used for a smoke alarm it will activate on open contacts. Production testing is to UL555S standard.

Four pole 120V 30# actuator, UL Listed, CSA Certified. Two Stage Actuator Body Style, CW and CCW rotary travel direction, SR (spring return) or HSR (hydraulic spring return) for load dependent contact position switching, Spring Return provides the highest possible life and reliability with any load. 3000 PSI Minimum Operating Pressure required, DPST = Power Supply 2-Position Switching Type: A DCA switch provides a solid electrical circuit to actuator coils upon closing power supply contacts; creating a "weak" contact which is energized at all times.

Our Fire/Smoke DCA 2-Pos. Spring Return Actuators are designed to be used in applications where a spring return mechanism is required. We also supply each actuator with a manual override kit containing a shaft mounted fire button and a selector switch that operate the automatic switching function.
