Add 3/4"" sweat mix-modulating water valve to change the temperature of the water in a hydronic heating system. Required for all hydronic forced air or hydronic radiant commercial installations using direct expansion (DX) units where the heating unit is located in an unconditioned space such as a bath room, greenhouse or other enclosed area.

Tested and approved for installation on copper, CPVC, and PEX pipe and tubing systems. The V5853A2063 is a corrosion-resistant three-way mixing valve with a flow rate of 4.9 gpm. It has a two-hole 1/2"" diameter threaded inlet fitting with an integral strainer, and an electroplated brass disc type float assembly for module or linear pressure balancing applications.

Honeywell's V5853A2063 three-way water valve is designed for 2 1/2""-3 1/2"" copper piping systems and allows for mixing hot and cold water, so you have complete control over your home's hot water temperature when you need it. It has a flow rate of 4.9 Cv with a maximum pressure rating of 150 psi.

The 3/4" Sweat valve has adjustable bypass that allows room temperature water to be mixed with warm water in the system. It is suitable for hot water temperature up to 160 Degree F and maximum working pressure of 125 psi @ 4 GPM.
