The V8044A1002 is a replacement valve head for use with the V8043-24DVF and V8042-24DVS zone valve assemblies. It is used to operate water flow to two different locations at the same time. It uses an electromechanical actuator (circuitry) to activate quadrant valves.

This replacement zone valve actuator works with the Honeywell V8043 Zone Valve and provides a positive shutoff in 4-wire applications. This zone valve replacement head is designed for use with an unlimited number of accessories that require a zone valve actuator. Works with Square D™, Cutler-Hammer™, Gibson™, Cutler-Hammer™, Honeywell Control Products, Inc., Bryant™ and Intermatic electric air-conditioning, heating and ventilation systems with an insteon® compatible hub. Zone valves are used to control water flow through sprinklers. They are designed to be connected into piping with poly (hydraulic or plastic) tubing. These, along with flexible PVC tubing for the rest of the installation, can be used as replacements for the original zone valves on all machines from 1982-87 designed by Stephen Mogensen. The heads of these zone valves are colored green with 2 white stripes and the green hose adaptors have a white stripe around the middle and the factory name "HONEYPARK" written across them in red lettering.
