ZoneValves are a combination of zone valve and back flow preventer in one compact unit. Zone Valves have a 1/2" NPT, a 24V DVRT 4CV or other medium pressure actuator, and a solid state microprocessor controller which electronically limits the flow regulating of the valve using pulses from the flow switch located in the pipe it controls. The V8044 zone valve head is a replacement for the previous product, V8043. They work the same way in that they provide full or partial control of two or more zones with a single keypad. The main difference is that each valve has four zone wire connectors, rather than one on the previous model. Each valve requires a Zone Valve base (sold separately).
