IGNITION CONTROL

The Ignition Control feature is for glass-top burners and allows the pilot valve to be turned off during ignition, eliminating time lost waiting for the pilot flame to stabilize. The Ignition Control Feature is only available on models 8T94AB and 15T94.

Four-wire ignition control for use with unvented decorative heating appliances. 2-circuit installation limit: 15 Amps. 15Amp rating will protect igniter against damage in the event of momentary power interruption or short circuit. Can be used to switch off output terminals on all 15 Amp APs if a disconnect switch is installed between AP and IGNITION CONTROL. Allows manual operation of igniter for testing purposes while still maintaining low voltage protection.

The Lennox® 15T94 Ignition Control, is a 120 amp high speed ignition control with a continuous duty motor protective relay that is compatible with 90% of gas furnaces manufactured since 1995. This easy to wire circuit board is designed to help protect the automatic gas valve in case of improper voltage, power surges, and electrical system malfunctions. The 15T94 includes two-color status indicators for Efficiency + (green) and Power Fail (red) to let you know if your furnace needs repair.

The 15T94 Ignition Control from Lennox retrofits existing furnaces and increases the performance. The control will also assist in greater efficiency and temperature stability of the furnace.

The Lennox 15T94 ignition control includes a capacitor to provide the ignition coil with a continuous operating voltage. This feature allows the motor to start more quickly and reliably. It also helps prevent misfires that can damage the motor due to low engine RPM's when the heater comes on or when trying to restart the unit after it has been shut down.
