The Heat Exchanger 3S is an Economical Solution for Economical Boilers. In back-up operation, the HEAT EXCHANGER 3S provides economical supplemental heat to a backup boiler or furnace upon a loss of primary heat source. Heat exchangers provide a fast and efficient transfer of heat from a heating source to a lower temperature fluid. They can be used on all heat sources including oil, gas, coal, wood and solar. The HEAT EXCHANGER 3S is of rugged design and contains corrosion-resistant materials that stand up well under grueling operating conditions.

The Heat Exchanger 3S™ transfers heat from the house to the hot water heater by means of a spiral wound copper heat exchanger placed in the cold water supply line. The Heat Exchanger 3S™ is placed between the existing boiler or gas tank and the domestic water heater, just before the cold water valve. It is designed for use with conventional domestic hot water heating systems based on gas, oil, coal, or pellets.
