Description: The JCI 3556 Terminal Connector with Angle Fittings for Surface Mounted Thermostats - Wire Harness is an arc-welded, zinc die cast zinc connector body assembled by two crimping dies. It is made to accept interchangeable terminal position thermostat insert along with Johnson Controls Watts T-Stat® and WCI Part Numbers 3204A & 3205A.
The 3556 terminal connection with two angled fittings allows the installation of one or two thermostats on a standard wall or floor box. The straight body terminals are designed for hand connection. The connections will accept 18-gauge to 14-gauge wire. A 10 mm x 12 mm deep socket is recommended for proper terminal crimp. A solder seal of the crimped connection is not required nor recommended.
For new installations on a ceiling, building a drop ceiling or remodeling, use these terminal connections to connect the connecting cable from the thermostat to the power supply connection. In each box of internal connector is one internal connector with two angle fittings as shown.
The 3556 Terminal Connector has a minimum order of three connectors. It is UL1310b listed with an operating temperature up to 221 deg. Celsius. The connector is for use with 90 Degree Angle Fittings TC7081N, TC7082N, or TC7083N.
