The TE-6351M-1 is a platinum 1 kOhm 8 in. long wire platinum thermocouple. The platinum sensor has a positive stranded bare wire with an insulated red jacket that can be directly installed into any thermocouple application.

The Johnson Controls TE-6351M-1 Platinum Series 1 kOhm Temperature Sensor monitors the temperature of the airflow in an HVAC system. The sensors are designed for use with air filters, wall distribution boxes, registers, fan coils, or return air ducts. The Platinum series sensor is equipped with a nickel-plated terminations and seals to enable sensing beyond 180?C (356?F). Each sensor features an ionized coating that blocks out condensation, corrosion, dirt, and moisture.

For commercial or residential use to monitor and record temperatures, this sensor is made of platinum-resistance wire to keep the wire core accurate over longer periods of time. It mounts in ducts and includes a 1/4"" NPT fitting.
