HEAD ELECTRIC W/MACERATOR
The Mayfair 189-804743501 Head Electric W/Macerator is a johnson pump. It features a different kind of head, especially this one that features a macerator style. The reason this is an important feature is because it speeds up the process of compaction. Through a series of spinning blades and spiral cutting edges, it pulls refuse into the vacuum cavity at an even faster rate, making your job easier.
The White-Rodgers JOHNSON PUMP/MAYFAIR 189-804743501 Head Electric with Macerator is a direct drive head assembly which converts the pump motor to a macerator. The 189 series models are designed to pump liquid waste from a septic tank to a conventional wastewater treatment plant for treatment of septic wastewater effluent. It is constructed with all cast iron components and assembled by bolted, not welded. The design also includes a check valve and a replaceable polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) insert in the relief valve seat.

Designed for long-term applications (sewage transport, farm field irrigation, etc.) with high-level performance and reliability, the Macerator Pump/Macerator is ideally suited to pump liquid waste materials containing large particles through small diameter piping. The macerator efficiently chops waste material into smaller particles, provide gentle dispersion and non-clogging of the discharge pipe. This unit is equipped with a side mounted Discharge Check Valve which provides positive shut off without damaging the impeller in case of accidental reverse rotation.
The Johnson pump/macerator can be used for applications where a low discharge pressure or a small amount of water is required, as well as vertical installation and use in mobile equipment. All models meet or exceed NEMA specifications and are guaranteed for three years. (Reference 40CFR173.102). Five models are offered covering flow ranges from 2-1/2 gpm to 4-1/2 gpm @ 10-15 psig (0.8-1.03 m3/h at 4-7 bar).
The Mayfair is a 3-in-1 deep well jetting system. It also features a six-way valve so it can be used for both standard 2 1/2" or 1 1/4" hoses, and it comes with interchangeable tips, to be used for everything from standard level jetting to macerating tough clogs.
