The Honeywell 2151 is a manual reset high limit aquastat for up to 1/2 inch (13mm) tubing. It uses the capillary rise sensing method, and is sealed shut with an internal diaphragm to help prevent the movement of the fluid. It will water on rise from 130°F up to 270°F. The textured bezel ring serves as nonskid contact area to mount onto the heating element housing's sensor ports. With the cap principle it can work within a temperature range of -40°F to 300°F; in addition, it has a 90°C pressure
The Honeywell 2151 is a Open on Rise, Manual Reset Aquastat. It features a High Limit of 270 Degrees and a Maximum Low Limit of 130 Degrees. This automatic water temperature controller is ideal for hydronic heating equipment.
The Aquastat connects to the heating and cooling device. When the high limit is reached, the Aquastat opens and air flow stops. Once the high limit has cooled, the valve resets and air flow begins again. This is a manual reset device.
