The 17M50 Industries SENSOR KIT, REMOTE HUMIDITY comes with a sensor, humidity sensor and mounting hardware. Complete the installation with an industry approved humidistat to enable your heating and cooling system to achieve optimum comfort levels.

This humidity sensor is an upgrade from the Lenox 20M51. It works with all Lennox 17M50(and higher) fireplace models. It operates either by itself or in conjunction with a compatible gas valve. This sensor does not stand alone.

The 17M50 humidity sensor enables you to control the home comfort level based upon desired humidity levels rather than simply heating or cooling the air. It also can be used to automatically change a ventilation fan in response to changes in humidity.

The 17M50 Industries Sensor Humidity Kit enables you to monitor the humidity inside your home from anywhere. The remote sensor operates on a radio frequency of 392 Mhz and is powered by the base station. The sensor is easy to mount with an included double-sided tape. Handheld display unit shows humidity in both Fahrenheit and Celsius, temperature and low battery icon. The kit comes with everything you need, including the sensor, remote, wall mount, and double-sided tape.

Install the sensor in the air handler ductwork. The sensor will sense humidity at any specific location.

Replace the humidifier water panel and its sensor in favor of one that is more easily located and replaced. The 17M50-1 humidity sensor is a direct replacement for Sensor A/C of any M-Series humidifier with an MSRP of $69.99 or less sold prior to 2009.

The Lennox 17MBQ17-M50 utilizes a humidity sensor to prevent over humidification and then provide for proper conditions. Featuring a single phase construction with a built in protection against power surges, the unit is capable of up to 4.5 tons of cooling capacity, depending on the conditions in the room.
