This item is a Lennox 24V 3PDT Relay. It plugs into its base by means of the attached polarized plug. When current flows from the base to the terminal, the power relay switches on and completes the circuit. This relay is brand new in a brand new box with one year warranty on parts and labor.

The 3PDT relay's main purpose is to switch higher current devices such as a self-contained oil burner, or multi-wire fan. Relays are usually installed in locations where space is tight, and a larger relay would be unable to fit. The 3PDT normally operates on a 24VAC or 24VDC power supply.

The Lennox 2D111 3PDT Relay is manufactured by Lennox Pulse Electronics for use with the Air Conditioner line of Chamberlain. This is an electromechanical relay that provides for bidirectional control of dual 240VAC air conditioners, to allow them to run in parallel. It requires a control input signal between 5 and 12V AC (RMS). One output contacts of this Relay are provided for connecting the two AC Units while the other output provides selection between the two AC units which is selectable by a contact selection switch CSP.

The RELAY is designed to provide 24V across current-carrying contacts and it features three normally-open (NO) medium-current contacts, three normally-closed (NC) heavy-current contacts, and a common terminal. The contacts are electrically isolated from each other and the housing.
