Most Lennox Gas Furnaces are equipped with an unloader control for use with a high limit device. The FLAME SENSOR option replaces this unloader control when a high limit is not desired or needed.
Aflame in no time? Our Flame Sensor can help. It notifies you of a gas leak before it turns into a fire.
The Flame Sensor monitors your furnace's flame for a more efficient operation. With the Flame Sensor, your furnace will use less fuel when the flame is in the correct position and utilize excess oxygen when needed.
The Flame Sensor constantly checks for flame failure in the pilot flame. If it senses a flame failure, it doubles the fuel flow to try to maintain the correct size pilot flame. If it still cannot reinstate the pilot flame, the blower shuts off and the heat exchanger cools. And when you use a three-pronged adapter or Y connection, there is no chance of starting your gas furnace accidentally.
For added protection from shorted control wires, the L33F37 Flame Sensor by Lennox is a user friendly replacement sensor that is a great addition to your furnace. This flame sensor by Lennox is designed for optimum compatibility with other Lennox heating products. The 33F37 flame sensor helps prevent fire and carbon monoxide hazards due to a faulty heater or poor system performance.
