The Baffle Turbulator is a variable refrigerant flow heat exchanger that uses propane gas to warm or cool your home by reversing the direction of chilled air from a central air unit. This Lennox Turbulator has a 48W32 BTU capacity and is energy-rated up to 20 SEER.

The Lennox Baffle Turbulator flue gas exchanger is designed for a perfect match with 30,000 and 50,000 BTU systems. Its patented baffle design incorporates a corrugated furnace sidewall with two solid, vertically positioned corrugations opposite the burner tubes. As heated air moves across the furnace sidewall, the two sides of the baffle create fluctuating pressure changes within the unit's ceiling plenum to help capture and move heat throughout your home. A new Lennox® Baffle Turbulator is a simple but highly effective way to boost system performance. It's made up of a single unit of perforated steel foil with controls over positioning outlet, air velocity and pattern of air flow for maximum comfort and satisfaction.

This unit, now called the 48W32 Baffle Turbulator, utilizes a four (4) inch blade, two stage fan and an airflow inducer to produce 6,000 CFM of airflow. A two-stage fan speeds up airflow with less noise than a conventional single-stage fan. The airflow inducer produces lighter air turbulence which helps move more air but creates less noise than an area of low pressure.
