The 59W35 Low Ambient Pressure Switch is used in Lennox furnaces equipped with the Economizer, Heat Exchanger, or Air-Conditioner by a second switch.

The low ambient pressure switch mounts on a selected Lennox® furnace. The low ambient pressure switch provides the unit with protection down to 0°F.

This Lennox 59W35 - Low Ambient Pressure Switch 102312-01 is an original replacement part for some Lennox heat pump models. This low ambient pressure switch is used in the operating cycle of a heat pump.

The low ambient pressure switch is a temperature-compensating, normally open or normally closed, self-contained switch offering an extremely compact design and small foot print. The primary purpose is as a switching device to provide control when air for combustion or refrigeration is either too cold or too hot.

A Low Ambient Pressure switch is normally closed. It is used to protect equipment where a sharp drop in pressure is not tolerated. For example: BOPs, Fluids Circulating Pumps, Well Drilling, Cooling Towers, Steam Generators and Unloader Valves.

The 59W35 is a direct replacement for the discontinued 140W36A. This switch is designed to help prevent hard start ups due to low ambient conditions.
