The 87J71 Heat Sequencer is designed and manufactured with a stainless steel heat exchanger and core, oversized aluminum fin baffle, and service valves. This unit operates under the same basic principles as the Lennox 93S Heat Sequencer Plus, but at a lower cost. This Heat Sequencer (Upper) contains all of the components needed to utilize this product on a two-stage installation. Mounting kit is included in the package when ordered through Central Vacuum Stores. This unit cannot be modified to be used on a three-stage installation.

The Heat Seq. (Upper) provides simultaneous heating of the upper and lower air paths, where cold-air returns are typically located. This provides uniform distribution of conditioned air for temperatures that are constantly consistent, as well as the elimination of cold floors in the home.

The Heat Sequencer upper allows for greater comfort and energy savings by automatically switching off the middle setting about an hour before the lower setting. Heating capacity can be reduced by up to 10 percent per cycle with this feature.

The Heat Sequencer/Heater-COOLER & Furnace Fan Controls let you program your heating and cooling cycles before the season begins for a more efficient, more comfortable home. The Energy Saver controller is an integrated part of the Heat Sequencer system. The Energy Saver modulates the over-fire air that is installed on non-forced air furnaces with a blower coil. This reduces energy consumption and helps keep the house more comfortable in summer and winter.
