The MPD-16095 Potential Relay is an active component used to sense a voltage inline and power on/off loads connected to a control contact. It senses a low battery voltage of 4V or less and turns off the loads. When a higher DC voltage is applied through the CONN-12 pin, this activates the relay coil and closes the CONT-1 contact (which is normally open).

The Model 16095 Potential Relay was designed for use in relay protection and control, uninterruptible power systems (UPS), direct switch control (DSC), and process control. The low-insertion-loss principle provides a greater amount of isolation between protected equipment and the inputs of the potential relay than traditional designs.

The Potential Relay from Mars is the perfect tool for determining if a system is on or off potential. This compact relay can handle currents up to 160A and has a 40KV ESD protection diode. It also features one dual thermistor input with selectable voltage range. The relay will detect potential immediately, eliminating the need for large probes that can penetrate insulation or damage systems.

A 480 Volt 120/240 Volt AC potential relay rated 100A maximum at 600V A.C. with a high impedance coil. Will switch 480V, 240V, or 120Vac input voltage into a direct line current sensing circuit.

Our Relay line of contactors are ideal for applications that require high current, such as DC motor controls. Each relay is capable of safely switching high power loads up to 3 amps with outstanding circuitry for high voltage or low voltage protection.

The Mars 16095 offers the first of its kind Anti-Spark-Noise and this model has taken the industrial equipment to another level. The device prevents sparking noise from occurring before it even happens by isolating the circuit. This prevents the spark between the contacts. The simple two-wire design avoids CO 2 gas related explosion, and allows for a simple one-wire hook-up, easy set up, and faster changeover. The unit is completely free of external coils which connect directly to potential relay terminals over any voltage range, weighting only 5 lbs and 10" (H) x 6" (W
