The Mega-Skeg moves easily in and around your boat. Just attach it to your existing transom-mounted propeller shaft and trim angle for an exact fit! The MegaSkeg Pro provides large-blade protection for propellers and rudders in saltwater environments. As the tides rise and fall, the floating design keeps water above the skeg to protect the propeller and rudder from barnacles, weeds, oysters and other growth that can dramatically slow or stop a boat. Each MegaSkeg Pro features an adjustable tether for easy-to-install flexibility.

The Megaware® Keelguard® is a MEGA SKEG® designed to prevent barnacle growth in the waterline area of your boat. As an added benefit, it also helps reduce premature gelcoat blisters due to out-gassing of the resin which occurs on many boat surfaces after launching.

Even at maximum power the MegaSkeg Pro is easy to handle and maneuver in tight spaces. Incorporating a skeg (center fin) into the design of the propeller prevents skipping and adds a degree of control that cannot be duplicated by fin type riders.
