SPST DUAL PRESSURE CONTROL 20/100#;
The Johnson Controls 8546 Micro-Set® control (8546) is provided with a 1/4" FNPT or flanged cutout connection. It is strategically designed as a single-throw (SPST) dual pressure control and can be field configured to operate at low set (LO) and high cut-out (HCO) pressures. The 8546 minimizes refrigerant migration through the low side while servicing PV systems that use non-corrosive refrigerants, such as HFCs (R404A, R407C, R407F, and R410A), HCFCs (R
Our 8546 Micro-Set control is a dual pressure control that is 1/4" flare spade and the other 1/4" male flare. The female end screws directly into the solenoid valve and the male side screws into your refrigerant piping. The yellow high pressure knob puts you at 100#'s of pressure, while the red low pressure knob puts you at 500#'s of pressure.
The Micro-Set controls are ideal replacement actuators for a wide variety of refrigerant systems. They feature a compact, lightweight, and low-profile design that will help you mount them closer to your equipment, reducing the required modifications to existing equipment and/or spaces. These state-of-the-art controls also offer quieter operation than other dual pressure controls available today, reducing mechanical noise when activated and housing latch release mechanisms that keep rattling to a minimum.
With the 100-500 psi dual pressure system, the 8546 is a cost effective solution for refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump applications. Features include low pressure cut out with 0-1/4 in. flare nut connection.
Simple to install and easy to read, the Micro-Set is ideal for refrigeration systems using non-corrosive refrigerants. It is a dual pressure control designed to maintain or restore system pressure during normal service, emergency or overload condition.
The Johnson Controls 8546 Micro-Set Control is ideal for refrigeration and air conditioning service work. The set pressure control features a high pressure side rated at 100 to 500 psi and a low pressure side rated at 20 to 100 psi. The 5/8" gas inlet accepts standard flare nut connections, while the 1/4" gas outlet can be capped off or coupled with a 36" capillary tube.
The new Micro-Set 8546 is a miniature pressure control designed for small refrigeration coils where space is at a premium. The noncorrosive diaphragm mechanism delivers accurate and predictable control as extended life and does not require a means to sense low pressure or loss in system pressure. A pilot signal light, adjustable limit settings and no test cocks are characteristics of this electronic control product. Technical specification charts are included on the inside of the cover for easy identification and selection.
