A plug-in purge timer for use with the R4795 low voltage system. The 60-second timer is used to automatically activate the building's fire protection system if a fire alarm initiating device remains in alarm for more than 60 seconds.

The ST71A1026 is designed for use with the R4795 packaged rooftop air conditioner. When used in conjunction with the R4795, this plug-in purge timer will operate a hold-in fan for a preset period of time immediately after the compressor shuts off. This feature allows the system to perform additional functions when it shut off such as moisture removal, capacitor cooling and other condenser cleanup.

The Honeywell ST71A1026 Plug-in Purge Timer activates the flow of refrigerant during a defrost cycle, and automatically resets to continue the defrost cycle for the appropriate time. It activates a purge solenoid valve after a defrost cycle, and restores operation to defrost or to the desired cool mode.

The ST71A1026 is a plug-in purge timer that can be used to help meet the 2010 U.S. EPA Energy Star for Commercial Refrigeration and Food Service Equipment rule.

The Prepurge Timer is made to be plugged into the wall receptacle with no interruption to your heat or air conditioning and controls up to 3 heating or cooling systems. The timer is set to a 60-second purge time so it allows for evacuation of the refrigerant lines without shutting off the system.

PrePurge Timer is a two-position pluggable pushbutton accessory that is used with a control system. When the PrePurge Timer is plugged into the R4795, the unit will generate two separate purge events in 60 seconds. The ON position, when selected, will provide one purge event in 60 seconds. The OFF position, when selected, will provide one purge event in 120 seconds.
