The 286-90024125 Equalizer hitch shank is designed to allow your tow bar to articulate on a large trailer so that you are able to steer the vehicle and trailer together. This design keeps the force of steering evenly distributed between your tow bar and king pin.

The PROPER EQL2.5 shank will square up the Hitch Receiver opening for 2"x2" Hitches, allowing for a smooth snug fit of your Hitch Receiver into the Hitch Ball ensuring no movement.
