The 2728 Series is a double pole and double throw switch for use with a wide variety of pneumatic control needs. This proportional air operated switch includes an on-off safety function, LED indicators for the incoming signal, and adjustable response times. The standard air capacity range is from 0.25 to 100 cfm (0.07 to 3.4 m3/sec.) with a minimum flow capability of 0.03 cfm (0.002 m3/sec.). This dual-sensor controller is used for on/off control of a proportional pneumatic. It uses two air flow sensors and an optional three-way shut-off relay to control the supply of air pressure to a pneumatic, on or off, with changing demands. It also can operate as a limit switch by using one or both of the sensors for closing and/or opening control loops. The controller is capable of handling small supply lines (ranging from 0.018" to 0.054") and large demand lines (up to 1.0" in diameter).
