The PRS series is a combination smoke/heat detector designed to give you appropriate early warning of fire and carbon monoxide. It has infrared (detects heat) and photoelectric (detects smoldering fires) sensing devices to provide both fast- and slow- burning fire detection so you're always protected, 24 hours a day. The Rise-and-Fall feature allows the detector to adjust sensitivity as the level of alarm sound required may gradually increase or decrease with changing conditions in your home.
