Dynamic Self Test Amplifier for C70

High gain, wide range amplifiers match into a wide variety of base-station antennas, providing uncompromised performance for personal portable radios. These transmit enable amplifiers also provide an optional dynamic self test mode that eliminates the need to remove the amplifier from service for periodic bench testing.

The Model R7886 is a field programmable dynamic self test amplifier designed to perform on-line tests on emission data. This technology was originally developed for the US EPA. The Model R7847, R7848, and R7849 are identical in construction to the Model R7886 except that they contain only the features necessary for compliance with the Canadian, California AB 75 and Federal rules. The Model R7851 is identical in construction to the Model R7886 except that it has been modified for compliance with the Danish Environmental Protection Law.

The R7824, R7847, R7848, R7849, and R7851 amplifiers are intended for use with the C70 Series and OV200 Series sensors.

With its rapid gain-bandwidth, this amplifier is able to track fast disturbances; its high input resistance avoids saturation and holds accurate readings. Input signal is polar-independent, which enables the amplifier to be applied in automatic troubleshooting of remote faults. When combined with multi-point probes , this dynamic amplifier performs as a self test system for communications components including antenna/feed lines, SMD's and other microwave devices.

The R7861 series are enhanced versions of the R7860. The R7861 is a self-test amplifier, which has built-in auto testing capability for detecting and reporting failures to a remote monitoring device. It can also be used to supply power to up to 4 remote detectors for self-monitoring.

R7848 amplifiers can be configured into four types of amplifier configurations (two-channel, four-channel, six-channel, and eight-channel). There are individual test points for each amplifier in each configuration. The R7851 is a stereo audio amplifier board designed to be used with the R7792 TCXO module. The R7885 is an IF output test point for use with all other CFM modules which require special test points.
